Idea: share a conversion win

The conversion rate rose noticeably. Find out why and use it elsewhere.

A bigger share of visitors is converting than before. If you can pin down why, the same change may lift your other websites too.

What it suggests

Find out what changed, note it in the timeline, and test whether it can be applied to sister sites.

When it’s suggested

The conversion rate is GA4 key events divided by visitors. It’s suggested when that rate is more than 15% higher than in the comparison period and the website recorded at least 10 conversions in the current period. The details show the rise, for example “Conversion rate up 22%”.

If conversions jumped while visitors didn’t, SaaSMaestro raises Conversions up without more visitors instead, because duplicate or spam conversions are the likelier cause. Nothing is suggested while conversions are switched off under Workspace basics → What to show.

What to do

  1. Check that the rise is real: look at which key events grew in GA4 and make sure no new or duplicate event was added.
  2. Look for what changed: a new form or checkout, a pricing or offer change, faster pages, or better-matched traffic from a campaign.
  3. Add a timeline note with what you found, then try the same change on a similar website and compare.

When it goes away

It goes away when the conversion rate is no longer more than 15% above the comparison period.

It drops off the action plan once it hasn’t been detected for 7 days. If you mark it done or dismiss it, it only comes back, as “Back again”, if it clears for at least 7 days and then returns.
