A monthly reminder to bring one older page up to date. It is a routine check, not a problem SaaSMaestro found.
What it suggests
Pages that still get visitors slowly lose ground as facts, dates and links go out of date. Refreshing one page a month keeps the website current with little effort.
When it’s suggested
Every month, for every website. It doesn’t pick a page for you. It is an Info tip.
What to do
- Pick an older page that still gets visitors, ideally one whose visitors or search clicks have started to fall. The website’s landing page and search tables show the change against the previous period.
- Update facts, figures, dates and screenshots, and add anything readers now expect.
- Fix or replace outdated links and add links to newer related pages.
- Add a timeline note, so you can later see whether the refresh helped.
When it goes away
Each month brings a fresh reminder. Ticking it off clears it for that month; one left unticked drops off the board about a week after its month ends.
