There’s no limit to how many websites a workspace can hold. Importing is fastest; adding by hand gives you full control over each one.
Import websites
Once a Google account is connected, click “Import websites” on the welcome screen or the Data connections tab.
- SaaSMaestro builds one row per domain across all your connected Google accounts, pairing each Search Console site with the GA4 property whose web stream uses the same domain.
- GA4 properties with no matching Search Console site are listed too.
- Domains already in the workspace are greyed out and marked “In workspace”.
- Every new domain is ticked. Use the search box, “Select all” and “Select none” to adjust, then click “Import selected”.
Each website then loads its history one at a time, with a progress bar. If a first sync fails, the website is still added and the scheduled syncs keep retrying.
Add a website by hand
Click “+ Add website” on the overview or the Websites page and fill in:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | How the website is labelled everywhere. Required. |
| Domain | Required. You can paste a full address; the https:// and any path are removed. |
| Chart colour | Automatic picks the main colour of the website’s icon, adjusted if another website looks too similar. Choose Custom to set your own. |
| Group | Optional. Pick a group or choose “+ New group…” to create one. |
| Key metric | Visitors, Search clicks or Conversions. Decides whether the website counts as growing and what its sparkline shows. |
| Tags | Optional, separated by commas. Tags are searchable. |
| Data sources | The GA4 property and Search Console property to read, grouped by Google account. Either can be left as “Not linked”. |
Saving with new data sources imports up to 5 years of GA4 history and about 16 months of Search Console data. A website can be saved without any data source and linked later.
Choosing the right Search Console property
If you have both a domain property (example.com) and a URL-prefix property (https://www.example.com/), pick the domain property: it covers every subdomain and both http and https.
Who can add websites
Owners, admins and members. Viewers can see every website but can’t add or change them. See Team members and roles.
