The website is in SaaSMaestro but isn’t linked to Google Analytics 4 or Search Console, so there are no visitors, clicks or conversions to report on or check.
What it means
Every traffic, search and tracking check reads data from GA4 or Search Console. Without either, the website shows no figures, and only its Website health checks (uptime, SSL, domain and so on) can raise problems.
What triggers it
It reads the website’s own settings: when neither a GA4 property nor a Search Console property is chosen, it raises this Medium issue. Nothing else about the data is checked until one is linked.
Common causes
- The website was added before its Google account was connected, or the sources were skipped when it was added.
- The Google account the website used was removed, so its sources were cleared.
- The website genuinely has no GA4 property or Search Console property yet.
How to fix it
- Connect the Google account that can see the website’s properties on the Data connections tab, if it isn’t there yet. See Connecting Google accounts.
- Open the website, click “Edit” and choose its GA4 property and its Search Console property, then save.
- If a property doesn’t exist yet, create it in Google first. GA4 only collects data from the day its tag goes live.
When it clears
As soon as either source is linked. History is then imported, and the other checks start once the data arrives. If only one source is linked, a tip suggests adding the other.
