SaaSMaestro has two ways to organise websites. Workspaces keep things completely separate; groups organise websites inside one workspace.
Which to use
| Workspace | Group | |
|---|---|---|
| Websites | Its own set | A subset of the workspace’s |
| Google accounts | Its own connections | Shared with the workspace |
| Team | Its own members and roles | Everyone in the workspace |
| Settings and thresholds | Its own | The workspace’s |
| Best for | Separate businesses, or clients who shouldn’t see each other | Brands, markets or clients managed by the same team |
Workspaces
Everyone starts with a personal workspace. To add another, open the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar and choose “New workspace”, or search for it with Ctrl+K. Give it a name and, if you like, copy the current workspace’s settings. You become its owner and switch to it straight away.
Switch between workspaces from the same menu. Search works across all of them, and the pencil icon next to the menu lets owners and admins edit the current one.
Website groups
Create groups under Settings → your workspace → Website groups, or straight from a website’s Group field with “+ New group…”. Each group has a name and a colour. Rename or recolour a group in place; deleting one leaves its websites ungrouped.
Once you have groups, a group menu appears next to the period filter on the overview, insights, action plan and reports. Schedules can pick websites group by group, and a client link can show a single group.
Tags and favourites
For lighter organisation, give websites tags (they’re searchable) and star your favourites to keep them at the top of every list. Stars are personal.
