A monthly reminder to look at Search Console’s page indexing report. It is a routine check, not a problem SaaSMaestro found.
What it suggests
Pages that Google hasn’t indexed can’t appear in search. SaaSMaestro watches the home page and the busiest pages itself, but only Search Console shows the whole website.
When it’s suggested
Every month, for each website with a Search Console property linked, as long as Search Console data is switched on under What to show in the workspace settings. It is an Info tip.
What to do
- In Search Console, open Indexing → Pages and look at the reasons pages aren’t indexed, especially any that are new or growing.
- Open a few affected pages and decide whether they should be indexed. Fix the ones that should, for example by removing a noindex tag or a wrong canonical, then use Validate fix.
- Under Indexing → Sitemaps, check the sitemap is submitted, was read recently and has no errors.
Problems SaaSMaestro finds on its own are covered in Pages not in Google’s index.
When it goes away
Each month brings a fresh reminder. Ticking it off clears it for that month; one left unticked drops off the board about a week after its month ends.
