The workspace overview

Combined totals, the performance chart, health scores and the websites table.

The workspace overview is the first page you see after signing in. It answers three questions: how is the workspace doing overall, which websites are moving, and what needs attention first.

The period filter

At the top right, choose 7, 28 or 90 days, and compare “vs previous” period or “vs last year”. If you have groups, a third menu narrows every figure to one group. Your choices are remembered for you in each workspace; the starting defaults come from Workspace basics.

Headline figures

  • Combined visitors: GA4 sessions across every included website.
  • Search clicks: clicks from Google search, from Search Console.
  • Conversions: GA4 key events.
  • Websites growing: how many websites are growing, with a bar showing growing against declining.

Each figure shows the change against the comparison period and the previous value. Search clicks and conversions are hidden if your workspace has switched them off.

The performance chart

  • Blended shows the workspace total; By website draws a line per website (up to 20, with a picker for the rest).
  • Switch between daily, weekly and monthly points, and between visitors, search clicks and conversions.
  • The dashed line is the comparison period. Click legend items to hide or show lines, and use the full-screen button for a closer look.
  • Right-click a day to add a timeline note there; click a note marker to edit it. See Timeline notes.

Priority issues

The six most serious open issues across the workspace. “All insights →” opens the full list. See Issue checks and severities for what each one means.

The websites table

Every website side by side: visitors, search clicks, conversions, conversion rate, average position, share of workspace visitors, trend and health. Click a column heading to sort. Starred websites stay at the top, ★ marks each website’s key metric, and the last row is the workspace total.

Trend

The sparkline shows the key metric day by day. The label says Growing or Declining when the key metric has changed by at least the “Growing” threshold (5% by default), Stable otherwise, or No data.

Health score

Each website starts at 100 and loses points for open issues. Hover over the score to see the breakdown.

DeductionPoints
Each critical issue−30
Each high issue−15
Each medium issue−5
Website is declining−10

85 and above is shown green, 60 and above amber, and anything lower red.

What moved the workspace

How many visitors each website added or lost compared with the comparison period, so you can see at a glance which websites explain the workspace’s change.

Recent timeline notes

The latest five notes, with a button to add a workspace-wide note.

Related questions

What counts as a conversion?

Conversions are your GA4 key events. If you haven’t marked any events as key events in GA4, conversions will be zero, and the action plan will suggest setting them up.

What is the health score?

A quick 0–100 score for each website. It starts at 100 and loses 30 points per critical issue, 15 per high issue, 5 per medium issue and 10 if the website is declining. 85 or more is green, 60 or more amber, anything lower red.

When is a website “growing” or “declining”?

When its key metric changes by at least the workspace’s “Growing” threshold against the comparison period. The threshold is 5% by default and can be changed in Workspace basics.

How do I compare against last year instead of the previous period?

Use the period filter at the top of the page and pick “vs last year”. To make it the default for everyone, change “Compare against” in Workspace basics.
