Half or more of the website’s visitors land on one page other than the home page. If that page drops in Google or breaks, most of the traffic goes with it.
What it suggests
One page is carrying the website. That is a strength while it lasts, but a lost ranking, an outdated article or a broken form on that page would hit the whole website.
When it’s suggested
SaaSMaestro uses GA4 landing pages over your default comparison period (28 days by default). The tip appears when the website had at least 300 visitors and a single landing page brought 50% or more of them. It is an Info tip.
The home page is left out, because brand and direct visits often start there.
What to do
- Keep the named page in good shape: up to date, fast and with a clear next step.
- Look at what brings people to it and write related pages on neighbouring topics or questions.
- Link from the busy page to those new pages, so its visitors and its authority in Google flow on to them.
When it goes away
SaaSMaestro rechecks its tips every day against the latest data. Once the rule no longer applies for 7 days, the tip drops off the board.
If you tick it off or dismiss it, it stays off the board unless the situation clears for at least 7 days and then returns, when it comes back as “Back again”.
