A client link is a private web address that shows a client a live, read-only summary of their websites. They don’t need an account and can’t change anything.
Create a client link
- Go to Settings, open your workspace’s tab and choose Team access.
- Under Client links, give the link a name, such as the client’s name.
- Choose what it shows: the whole workspace or one group.
- Create it, then click “Copy” and send the address to your client.
Only owners and admins can create and turn off client links. Using one group per client keeps each client’s link to their own websites; see Workspaces and groups.
What your client sees
- The last 28 days against the 28 days before.
- Headline figures: visitors, plus search clicks and conversions if your workspace shows them.
- A table of their websites with each figure’s change and how many actions are done.
- Completed actions, with the change measured since each one.
- Actions in progress.
- Changes and launches from your timeline notes.
Websites excluded from reports are never shown. Internal details such as Google accounts, team members and settings aren’t shown either.
Keeping it private
Each link contains a long random key, isn’t listed anywhere and tells search engines not to index it. Anyone who has the address can open it, though, so share it only with the people it’s meant for.
Client links don’t expire. To stop access, click “Turn off”, which deletes the link immediately. The Team access tab shows when each link was last opened.
Your own branding
Under Settings → Branding, add your agency’s name, logo, accent colour and a footer line. They appear on client links, on reports scheduled for clients (which are also sent in your agency’s name) and on PDF reports. Tick “Leave SaaSMaestro out” to remove every mention of SaaSMaestro from what clients see.
